ACUPUNCTURE
What more can be said about Acupuncture? So well established throughout the West and now commonly stolen by Western medics and claimed as 'dry needling' to avoid the large amount of study needed to practice Chinese medicine and acupuncture.
There's always a long list of what acupuncture can do on an acupuncturists website, simply because acupuncture stimulates internal movement within the body, always towards good health, therefore no matter the condition it will always improve with acupuncture... its just a matter of how far... and that's really down to the skill and understanding of the human condition of the practitioner.
Your body is in a constant dynamic flow. Into cells, out of cells, blood, fluids, mucus, lymph, muscles, nerve impulses, hormones, organ function, lungs, heart, intestines, liver, kidneys, skin.... all in a constant dynamic flow every second of your life; all harmoniously connected to each other.
Then one day.... the movement slows down. It stops flowing as naturally and smoothly, at a cellular level, therefore at a tissue level, and therefore at an organ level, we call this disease, a downward spiral of health.
This is where acupuncture comes in, and is why it benefits all conditions. Acupuncture is the great stimulator... always stimulating the body's 'desire' for homeostasis (internal balance) and smooth, unhindered internal movement.
Cupping, also a very useful tool, and just like acupuncture, stimulates those internal dynamics necessary for good health only a little more at the surface muscular level... not as deep as needles.
Electro-acupuncture I use a lot... with pain conditions it gets the job done faster and that's what people want,,, fast and effective treatment.
