Hypnosis is a wonderful way of enabling weight loss... though it's important to say every patient is an individual and the underlying reasons behind their weight gain are often deep, multifaceted and complex. But don't worry it is something I see a lot in clinic and as complex as it may be, the treatment is pleasant and empowering, and for your extremely powerful subconscious mind, quite straightforward.

Early studies from the 90s found that people who used hypnosis lost more than twice as much weight as those who just dieted. A 2014 study worked with 60 obese women and found that those who used hypnotherapy lost weight and improved their eating habits and body image. A small 2017 study worked with eight obese adults and three children, all of whom successfully lost weight, with one even avoiding surgery due to the beneficial treatment.
